Why talk down to me?

OH I am just so super annoyed right now I could spit NAILS. Why do SOME and noticed I said “SOME” men talk down to a woman as if we are brainless, dumb and stupid??!! Why do they all of a sudden go “deaf”? What set me off this morning? Phone calls setting up appointments for estimates on getting our roof done! OMG!!!

I can tell you right now of three companies that just lost POTENTIAL business, and you would think during the tough times right now they be a little more professional!

What makes you think that this is just something the “man of the house” has to approve and discuss? I am very capable of running my house and have for the past 10 years with my husband plus the years prior to that when I was single!! I actually do maintenance as I am NOT afraid to get my hands dirty! I am a veteran of the U.S. Navy on top of it and imagine that for a WOMAN!! I actually take our furnace and clean it each season removing dust and dirt build up, I climb on a chair and change the air filter monthly, I purchase things like entertainment centers and sit and put them together with get this MY OWN TOOLS and NO they are not PINK (oh an idea). I fix things when they fall apart and break. MY husband works hard to provide for our family and I do as much as I can so HE can come home and RELAX!!!

WE made the decision we need a new roof, WE decided what other work that needs done at the same time. WE know what needs to be done!! So I am the one who is contacting to set up appointments for estimates!!! WE already have a ball park price in our heads and if its within that amount WE already agreed on before you come to give us a quote and if its within OUR budget I can say lets set it up you jerks!

OH I am so annoyed right now!!!!!!!
