Why does my MOP smell?

Why does my mop smell? That is the question of the day for me today! Why is it so hard for my kids once they use the mop to rinse it and leave it to dry? OH no we grab it, wet it, mop with it and stand it up in a corner and don’t even rinse it. I was folding clothes in my utility room going what is that awful smell. I found it alright! I wish I had one of those microfiber mops. Why because for one I can toss it in the washer after I use it and maybe hope that my kids could do the same! I use microfiber wash clothes in the kitchen and I love them so I think that is what I am going to do. I mean I can’t even get the head of this dang mop off to toss in washer or to try and replace it!
