Stormy Weather Today!!

I wasn’t sure if I be able to post in my journal tonight or not. Wow, since yesterday we have had lots of mini storms.  When they come over the lake its something else let me tell you!!  This afternoon not so nice!!  We lost our power for a while.  Of course I think it’s kind of cute that as soon as the power is off my 17 year old is in the closet asking me which board game I want to play!!  Wow when we have power he is not wanting to do anything unless its plugged in like video game or on the computer!!  Too funny.  So today we played a round of Othello!  Oh I am the Othello Master in the house I am!  Undefeated!!  I hold the title with pride!!  He thought he had me today, all cocky and laughing but I kicked serious butt!!  I just love it when my kids think they out smarted me, its like he has played this out already before we played or something!!  I still hold the crown thus to speak!!  Perhaps when he is a little older and wiser he will beat me then!!

It was so nice to get my box of tarts today!!  Lara has a great sale going on over at The Sage Grove, as she is going green, and she has a buy a dozen tarts, get a dozen free, and well I could resist, and my 48 tarts arrived and boy do they ever smell delish!!  I got a dozen each of watermelon (smells just like a jolly rancher), lemon berry twist, blueberry cheesecake, and coconut lime breezer!!  Those are the top 4 favorite tart scents in the house!!  (well less us not forget pumpkin cheesecake, oh yeah).   Our house always smells so good!!  I definitely stocked up!!  It was nice of our postman to actually not leave my box outside in the rain!!  We have a new guy now.  Now I won’t feel as if all my packages are violated anymore.  The other guy used to sniff my boxes, was a little freaky LOL.

So I am off to hit the hay, so more storms are coming, I hope I sleep.  I don’t do well in storms!!  I can see the flash of lightening even with my eyes shut!!
