Sharing my 40th Birthday with you!

Today is my 40th Birthday.  Oh my, the big one!  I made it!  It’s a milestone indeed!  I don’t know how I got here, yes I do, by the grace of God!  In 40 years I have been through so much, and I look in the mirror and see that gray patch of hair making it’s way in.  Can’t stop it from happening now can I!   This morning dad woke me up with cranking the heat up to take a bath (woo hoo its been a month and he finally took a bath, Happy Birthday to me!)!  So my chores got an early start today!

I thought I share some pictures so far of my day!  I got four birthday cards (well five but one is pictured with some goodies I got):

You can see my Hoop and YoYo mug LOL, my desperate housewives mug (its the apple) hiding lol, this is the top hutch of the desk!  The first card is from a dealership where I got my dad his car from, then a card from hubby mom with a check for $20, then a card from my dad with a $20 in it, and the last card there is from my sweet friend Scooby in N.C.  See my pretty Chunk Pillar there, never will light that its too pretty it sits out all the time right where it is.

This arrived yesterday in the mail in a BIG box but was labeled in the name of my daughter and peeked my curiosity but I was good, I was told this morning about oh 7:30am I could “tear into it” (evil laugh), of course someone tied the ribbon, I had to cut it to open it LOL.  Its from my sweet friend Lara and brought tears to my eyes!!

Here is what I found inside:

Would look at all those special goodies, just for ME?  Me? just for Me!  There is a Nap Attack Kitty night shirt (PINK OMG and my FIRST one EVER), a set of  Like Mother, Like daughter dolls (you know I teared up right), a beautiful Cross on a Mirror with a saying:  When you turn to God you discover He has been facing you all the time, I absolutely adore it, a wall decoration with sheep (country prim) that says If at Night You Cannot Sleep, Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep! and a bunch of little goodies like some pink eye shadow, a few pins, and bookmarks, clips and a card!  I love it all!!!   I just adore it!!  (thank you Lara)

And my daughter, OMG got me:

My favorite scented homemade Soap and tarts (Lemon Berry Twist)  This picture again my cell phone, I need to get batteries for my camera later LOL  They done died LOL

I also have my DQ cake later I hope to get a picture of!  Hubby said what ever I wanted to cook for dinner, its my day.  Cook?  HA!  Heck no!  Can we say  OLIVE GARDEN??  OH yeah!  That is what I want.  I want to go there for dinner on my day!  So I took an early bath, and when he gets home we are going to have my birthday dinner there!  Yay!  NO KIDS  WOO HOO!!
