“Over Reacting”

So teens, can really be something else no? Heck kids in general can be not just teens but I am ready for school to start…
So the kids complained about the speakers on their computer in their room, they are old and static like, ok no problem so two months ago I got a set of speakers for them and asked my daughter to switch them out. Did she? NO! So I sent the school’s computer back to them as they sent me a laptop for my son to use this year so he can work in the kitchen would will cut back on his goofing off or going off track as much as he did last year when he was in his room working. I didn’t send the surge protector back because I assumed I would need it for the new laptop and they would not send another one, but they did and said not to worry we could just keep the other. So I put the new one away. So yesterday I go to set up his laptop for school, with our new internet service I needed to put the wireless connection code and such in the computer and do all those fine updates and what not’s. I didn’t have the boys and didn’t want to wake my kids so I got the new one out and started to work on it. Later on once I was done I thought wow no kids today, I just get out my laptop, plop on the couch and just chill and relax for the afternoon, maybe hang out a pogo for a few games of Gin and Canasta. So I ask the kids for the surge protector that I left in their room so I could use it for my laptop as I don’t want to plug it in without protecting it… this of course lead to them telling me I took it and use it some place else, its not in here, blah blah, argued with me, so I went in to their room to get it myself and OMG what a flipping mess it was move the computer cart to look behind it and found dirty socks and underwear, paper spit balls, and dust bunnies and those flipping broken hanging by a thread speakers STILL hooked up. So I get ticked and raise my voice and start pitching the shit in the corner out and also found computer games just thrown behind there instead of putting away. Well ya know what, that’s is, no more computer it can go to someone else who will appreciate and take care of it. I am so sick and tired of begging, pleading none the less for them to clean their flipping room, is it too much to ask to put the games back in cases and put them away? And what about the movies I asked them to put away?? Did they put them away in the movie cabinet or just throw them on top of it?? What do you think? If you said just thrown on top of it, your 100% correct, and lets talk about the board games? Really if you got it from the top shelf of a closet does it not make sense to put it back where you go it from in the first place? And the DVD player for their room just thrown off in a corner all cockeyed with other shit piled there and I guess that’s ok too. So as I am taking the computer part, go out to the garbage can at the curb to throw away those flipping speakers that should of been gone over two months ago and come back to take the cart out what does my son say to me? I am just over reacting!!
Just over reacting? OMG, WTF are you flipping serious? So now because I am fed up and ready to take things away I am OVER REACTING??? That’s a load of crap and well that didn’t exactly make me wanna dance and be all happy and gitty if you know what I mean!
So they are cleaning stuff up and I am looking in closets, drawers, cabinets in garage, in my utility room, every where and any where. Then my daughter is begging me if we clean our room and promise to keep it clean and do this and that can we please have the computer back. So I said I think about it, so they are doing their thing and a trash bag goes down the hall (I told you it needed cleaned) and they move the cart back in their room that I was pushing to the curb if I got it out the door and put the computer back in and got the new speakers out and I hear her in there and if you don’t put your games away I am taking and hiding them and your not playing this computer anymore to my son, I see the play yard is still in living room and it goes under my son’s bed when the little ones are not here so I called for my son to come and get it and I took a piece down the hall and he shoved the pieces under the bed and I walk around to the other size and low and behold guess what I seen laying there on the floor???? Come on guess?? Yep the flipping surge protector that they swore up and down, left and right that I TOOK! OMG I could of smacked the crap out of them both!! So what does my daughter say when she seen it?? “What the hell….”
And I was OVER REACTING????? And this was all before NOON! After I talked to hubby at 12:30, fried to the max nerves wise, got the laptop out and set it down on the floor by the couch. I thought I just lay down a second, I ended up falling asleep till 3:30!!
I tell you what if my room ever looked theirs or I talked to my parents like my kids talk to me, I would not have any real teeth in my mouth!!
I get fed up, decided to take things away…and they call that OVER REACTING!!!
