Migraine still hanging on

This blasted migraine just does not want to give up without a fight let me tell you. I phoned in dads medication this morning asked if I could ride along with him to the drug store so I could find something else to try and take. I asked the pharmacist and he recommended the Excedrin Migraine. So I ASSUMED we were coming straight home. OH no it was joy riding around for cheap gas. My head was killing me and all I wanted to do was come home and take my meds. So as I sat in the car as he ran into Sams Club to put money on his giftcard he uses for gas, as you know they were a whole four cents cheaper (yes we drove around 20 minutes to save a whole FOUR cents). So while I was sititng here I was reading the box with all the warnings then read the dosage is 2 geltabs. Then it said do not take more than TWO geltabs in 24 hours! ARGH. So after he pumped gas he headed to McDonalds for coffee so I tossed him a little cash for a coke and a hashbrown so I could rip that blasted box apart and take my meds!! They helped but this migraine did not totally go away, still letting me know “hello I am here”! But I am stuck not taking anything until tomorrow now.

All I know is I was really close to going to the E.R. WE have a copay of $100 dollars if I go! BUT if they did a CT scan and other testing it be covered that way. My doctor could not get me in until the middle of next week! OMG no way! Needless to say I need to look for a new doctor. I need one who actually LISTENS to me!!

yes, you do! When I was living in NYC I had te best doctor ever - I miss that guy. He actually took his time and listend to me. Here it’s in and out and I’m lucky if mine even remembers to pronounce my name right! Hope you’re feeling better today ~ xoxo
