Long day, now gotta wait up for dad!

Today was a long day. Well sure feels that way anyway! I am not sleeping well at night. Hubby calls me a night owl I really am not a night owl I just don’t fall asleep until after midnight sometime. What can you do, ya know? I sometimes would like to just keep watching television until I fall asleep but on work nights I can’t do that because he has to get up! Darn it I forgot to get that blasted book light again ARGH! I am determined to get that book light.
Its still in the lower 6o’s, can you believe it? Insane isn’t it for this time of year? Cloudy and rainy! Kinda depressing weather. After I took my daughter to pick her her pay check this morning hubby piled us all in the car and we went for a ride back to my hometown, just for something to do. Of course you know I took my Trace Adkins and Toby Keith CDs’ right? LOL Now hubby wants me to burn him a CD, a mix of them for the car, how about them apples!
Dad went off to the raceway today, and suppose to stay to see fireworks. I don’t think he will be able to stay that late. He so tries to keep doing what he use to do but he wears out so much quicker now. Breaks my heart to see him wear himself so thin, but what can I do, just like with my daughter, there is only so much I can do, I have to let them do their thing you know? He has a patch of eczema on his right arm that I tell him he should have the nurse check AGAIN before getting that Humira shot, which he was suppose to get today, went to the office and they were closed. So he will go Monday for it. I told him to get some hydrocortisone cream, I had some but my daughter was last one to have and she said she lost the tube.
Tomorrow is the parade and not sure what else we are doing. We did pick up the paint to paint the bathroom today, hubby thought that be a good project for the weekend for him, so I am guessing he may be doing that too. My neighbor gave me a a gift card to Kohls that expires tomorrow, 10 off 10 or more, so I like to go and see what I can grab with it!!
