Isn’t it pretty and on my toes!

As promised, now that things have settled I got my phone charged, uploaded the picture of the pretty necklace my hubby got me for Valentine’s Day!

He ordered it online from a jeweler and its white gold with some diamonds and he said to me “those are real” and I just wanted to laugh.  There is like a tiny pattern of them on the one site, and this is my first white gold necklace too!  I don’t have much in the area of jewelry because of all the years I was babysitting, the little ones would just pull and break the chains and thank goodness that was just Avon stuff!  I love the fact he took the time and ordered it for me, which generally its honey pick out what you want. So this is how I will remember this treasure!

My dad today was not only on my toes but on my sons and I have just had my fill.  He has been a bear since the laptop quit working, which I been reading up in different areas on the web, and I think that its the black box of his power cord, no power getting to the laptop and the battery is dead because it did tell him it was going to shut down it didn’t just die you know.  So I have hunted and hunted for days to find a power cord that didn’t cost an arm and a leg just in case I am wrong and can’t return it.  I found on on eBay and its on the way.  Hopefully this fixes it.  I hope for his sake it does because one more day like today and he may end up finding a place to stay.  He acts like being here is just the pits.  He walks in at 4:00 today and on us about making tea (iced) and there was no empty tea pitcher, plus I have two gallons in the refrigerator so there was a full one, plus one not empty yet.  He is like well there is only a little bit left, I said well I am not wasting it there is another gallon that is cold I didn’t NEED to make it.  He left to take my daughter to work, comes home and my son was walking into the living room snapping his fingers, dad walked in and says in a nasty tone do you have to do that.  I asked what the heck his problem was, first the darn tea, now that?  He was none to happy I spoke up.  Frankly I am tired of it.  Flat out tired of it.  I won’t have him treating my son like crap either.  Not with all he does for him!   He is having a hard time going to the bathroom and his friend at the mall told him to get some colonix to try, works like a charm.  Yeah I know what will work like a charm, a good old fashioned enema!

My son is worried now how he will act towards him in the morning before I am up.  I try to stay in my room as long as I can even if I am awake ever since the laptop died.  I can’t handle my dad.  My son has classes so that will keep him busy.  I hope my dad isn’t nasty to him because I had enough and said something.  I let dad know what I was doing about trying to fix the issue with the laptop and he agreed to give me the money back for the cord.  I don’t think we should have to pay for it but I told him NO more leaving it out and plugged in all night, not with the power surges we have.  I have surge protectors out but we do get surges a lot and I have to replace the protectors at least once a year, if not twice!
