Just wanted to show me!

Today I was excited to finally get my bike, from Toys R Us! Was on sale. I can’t wait to go and ride it once the weather breaks!! Its been raining off and on today. On the way home with hubby’s bike as we could only fit one in the trunk at a time. So on the way home hubby said he just wanted to show me a Ford Focus to see if I liked how it looked, as we still owed just under two thousand on our Mercury and it would of been paid off and ours. I told him no it will end up a salesman and buying the car! Needless to say I was right! I guess you think I would be happy we got a new car and one that we can afford, basically the same payment we have now, but I am heartbroken! You see we are a one car family and we had planned on keeping this car getting another car once it was paid off so we could afford two cars, but since the gas hike, hubby decided we would not be able to afford two cars, and he wanted to trade it in. He told me that a few weeks ago. But I was so hoping to hang on until we paid the car off, as maybe he would change his mind. But not gonna happen. The dealer told us when I said maybe we should wait so we could apply the full amount they were giving us for trade in towards the balance of the car without the trade in pay off on the car we still had about 6 payments to go. He told hubby if we waited they would only give us x amount, which was 1/2 of what they were offering now and the payment would be higher and to think about the car payment we make on that car, which could go towards the new one. So long story short we have a new car! But all I can do is secretly hide and cry! You have no idea how heart broken and disappointed I am to still have to be a one car family!!! I am stuck at home all the time and those who personally know me understand what I mean. The walls creep folks, they really do.

So its early, but my head hurts and I am tired. I don’t like to go deal with this stuff, when hubby got the last car I sent him off and wished him luck and to do his thing. I get sick from it, the nerves of haggling and dealing, just too much on me! So I am off to bed

I know what you mean about being stuck at home all the time. I am not able to drive anymore due to my health. I am home 95 % of the time. I would kill my hubby if he traded our car. It’s paid for and it will be with us until it falls apart.

I know exactly what you mean sweetie,we have one vehicle too and its a older truck.We cant afford 2 and barely can afford the gas for this one I am stuck at home all the time as well and with gas prices this high we cant afford to do much.
