I asked for an INCH off

GRR I am so flipping upset right now!! I so needed a haircut, and planned to just get a hair cut this evening, just an inch all the way around and next month go for my perm. So I arrived and Famous Hair, where I always go, WAS the only place I trusted, (notice I said WAS) for my hair cut this evening. I told the lady an INCH off!!! I also requested a shampoo.

Not only did she flip flop my damn head around and got the shampoo and water in my eyes, she scrubbed my head so flipping hard I got a headache. Then she started to cut my hair… then walking in circles around my head and laughing and talking to herself. OK that was a wee bit freaky! She kept cutting and cutting and I was like I just wanted an INCH off. It was as if she didn’t hear me and kept cutting and going around and around my head. She then asked you want your bangs shorter I said NO NO NO! That’s it your done!

All I know is now I will NOT be getting my perm next month like I planned, I guessing JANUARY now. NOT a happy camper!!!!!!!

Think I may start my shopping early

It is hard to believe that Christmas is around the corner isn’t it? Being that we are a one car family I don’t get out very much. Plus I can not handle those crowds. I tend to get my shopping done by Thanksgiving. I don’t even think of going on on Black Friday! This year I am thinking of getting my dad one of those talking watches. He is getting up there in age and I seen him straining his eyes sometimes in the evening, or even scarier, taking his eyes off the road when he is driving to check the time since he doesn’t have the clock set right in his car. He could just push a button and hear the time and keep in his own lane that way! My daughter told me today he come close to getting hit when he went to look at his watch!!

Normal isn’t normal for everyone

Well since I didn’t hear back from my thyroid specialist in person, I called into the message system they have for patience to get results to see if they left a message for me. Sure enough they did. Not keep in mind that I was honest with my doctor in I tend to forget “a lot” to take my meds. Sometimes I didn’t have them and would have to go a week or two until I could get them. I was honest and upfront. He thought that I would have to return that my blood results would show its lower and for me to take the meds a full six weeks and we check then for a more accurate count. He gave me samples to get me through that time frame. Well the results show “normal” even without redoing my blood work. Now that is with me taking them and forgetting a day or two here or there. I take my thyroid medication before I go to bed because I can’t take with a vitamin, the vitamin prevents the medication from absorbing into the blood. Now when I have had killer migraines I don’t take it, honestly who thinks about that one little pill when the hammers are hitting your head.

Ironically how can it be normal? I still am very very fatigued, still have a good amount of hair coming out when I wash it, and extremely sensative to cold, even with the A/C on in the summer time, memory issues here or there, unable to lose weight, and other issues that are more “personal” that are symptoms to this. Mornings are very hard for me I have to keep moving, if I was to just get up and lay on the cough, I am screwed for the day. The depression I deal with my specialist says is also a part of this condition.

He told me to double up when I forget, or if i wanted he as a patient who takes all 7 at one time, which he didn’t really recommend, but I could take every two or three days, just take two or three based on either the two days or three, that way if I have a good day with no migraines I am get it into my system and it will carry me till the next time if there is a migraine in between.

So I dunno, honestly I feel the same taking it and when I forget to take it or didn’t have it waiting on the mail in prescription to arrive. One time it was lost and I had none to take until they did a trace to try and locate first before they refill and I had went all that time without it.

I didn’t pay to make tags myself!

OK so I am really upset right about now. First off let me stress I think the scripts out there for make it yourself tags is a nice idea. I personally have used those doll maker scripts. I think its a great idea if you wanted to add a little added feature for your members to make a little something once in a while provided it was your original graphics from the start, not using graphics from another site. I think its a great idea to bring traffic to your site and potentially some new paying customers or members. I may even purchase the script myself so I could offer a little something here at my blog for my visitors. However, I totally disagree that it is going to “replace” my tag requests to make it myself. I didn’t pay to join the site to make the tags myself.

When I joined The Sig Tag Cafe, it was the very first tag site I ever joined. I even remember the first tag I requested, it was my Pogo Tag! I loved the creativeness and how everyone has a different style and technique which lead to me joining other tag groups. The benefits for lifetime members was “attractive” at that time. Picking and choosing the tags I wanted, getting a monthly pick for something just for me, and from time to time some tubes, with discount to pay only tags. Then I was moved to another site that offered all kinds of pixel tubes, Tinsel Town Tubes. My limit to requesting tags was knocked down, and the argument was giving access to this site with all the tubes. If I wanted them, I would of paid to join in the first place. For those who were a member at both, what plus was it? None. Then it was no longer picking the tags I wanted to pick to sign up by a certain date and you would get X amount of tags. If you as a member disagreed and complained, you risked losing your membership (and money invested). (Hence you can fight “pixel” hall). Instead they go behind their gossip groups and moan, groan, bitch, and complain that “members” or other site owners don’t want it. Then somehow WE turn out to be the bad guys! Trust me when I say there are quite a few of us little pee-on members who don’t like it, we talk to one another like grown ups and NOT behind a gossip group!!

Now for siggy requests, scripts have been purchased so we can just log in and do it our self! Does this make me happy? Hell no! I didn’t pay to make the tags myself! Seriously folks, I can just rejoin a bunch of memberships where the tubes come from anyhow, and make them myself. If I had the time and wanted to do that, I would not of joined a site that made them! Only ONCE this year have I had the ability to request my tags with the “new system”. OK so maybe this do it myself would fix that huh? I can pick and choose them now huh? What is going to stop JOE BLOW from making a whole bunch of names to pass out to their friends? It’s not going to stop them. What are you going to do police every yahoo, google, msn and forums out there? No way, impossible! Is this going to benefit the site owner or members more?

Well I would expect my membership will be canceled once I post this, frankly I don’t give a damn, can’t lose something I don’t have right? I can tell you this much WORD of mouth!!

You want to post your hate comments its your choice, however I have a right to complain about something, whether its about this situation or like Alltel who is currently screwing us out of $95.00 a month. As you can see I didn’t mask myself behind the gossip groups.

Like others who own sites who make members tags, I too have a life, and don’t always have the time, to be on here and when I do get time I have other things I need to do, and it does slip the ole mind to request tags. Hence the lifetime memberships. It’s not going anywhere, unless your only have x amount of days to get tags that maybe you didn’t have a percentage of anyhow because you have no choice and then you feel awkward deleting them because you know that person put that time and energy into them. I don’t stress when some needs to take a break, or if they lost their creativity mojo. They extend time to those who were not lifetime, so what seriously was lost? But yet some throw this up in the gossip groups I can’t believe members didn’t complain. No we didn’t complain, we understand!

I so much wanted to ask Katie, well if we can’t request them, why can’t you just make all the tag members the tags without having to ask? Why did I have to lose out on “months and months” worth of tags? I wasn’t going to put myself in a position of emailing so she could go around and tell others I was “harassing” her. Nope!
