In all seriousness

I guess not everyone has a sense of humor. I am appalled at the rude comment that was left for me that I up and deleted and blocked that IP address to my site. The I will if you will email to my hubby and my post about it was nothing but a joke! Plain and simple! I in no way needed the rude comment.

Women have to go through a lot of tests, uncomfortable ones, I mean lets face it if men had to see a GYN and put their feet in the stirrups while some doctor is looking up his hoochie, he wouldn’t go! I know my hubby wouldn’t! He won’t even do the bend over and cough at his physicals.

A mammogram is a very important test that every woman, yes EVERY woman has to get, I wasn’t saying I won’t get one. Yes I am nervous and scared, my hubby was trying to play it off as no big deal. Maybe for him because he doesn’t have to stick a part of his body into a machine to have smooshed. When you have never had one its a very scary thing to think about. Its not something we want to think about, but it is something we have to do.

It was not to discourage woman from having a mammogram for heaven sakes! It was simply an I will if you will joke to my hubby because I said to him just a few weeks ago, I asked him what if he had to have a test like that cartoon? Would be scared and nervous or cringe at the thought? He cringed at the thought and enough said!

It was all about “humor”. Finding humor in the day…. Nothing more nothing less and when I see those who have responded saying oh they need a laugh today thanks to your ONE lousy rude comment, I think it safe to say I didn’t discourage any woman from having a mammogram!!

I know I will have too do it and its approaching fast. Yes I am scared. I use to work for a lady who had one done and they were too rough with her and did a lot of damage to her that today she in pain management for. I seen the bruising!! That scared me right there. I seen the worst case scenario that could happen if an x-ray tech wasn’t careful. So yes I am nervous and scared about it.

But I will NOT delete my my post, for I don’t see any thing wrong with it!! You have the right to not agree with what I post if you want.

October is coming around the corner and I will again sign up for the Pinkfor October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. As you can see I am pink all year round…..
