I survived the first day…..

Well I survived the first day of a full house of kiddies, needless to say I am totally EXHAUSTED!! The day went fairly well for a first day I think! A ton and I mean a TON of no-no’s, or no running in the house, someone may get hurt, over and over. I thought about recording it and just pushing a play button LOL. The baby did great, he only fussed when he was hungry, needed changed or tired! Poor thing has to start nebulizer treatments for a few days, as he has asthma but has congestion in the lungs right now. So that will mean two treatments with me! Nap time was interesting, but I did manage to get all 5 of them sleeping for at least an hour and a half. One on the loveseat, one in my rocker who cried for mommy cause he said “I’m not tired” and I said ok just sit in the chair for some quiet time and next thing ya knew he was out, the girls sleep in bedrooms down the hall and baby in car seat! That was my cue to check mail, grab a banana and a slice of cheese.

I tell ya, I am very tired tonight. But it was a good day over all. Everyone plays and gets along well. That is what is important. I think the girls seemed a bit calmer cause they have others to keep them busy. They just love the baby!! I bet the neighbors were thinking they were moving in today with all the stuff they brought lol. Plenty to keep busy that is for certain.

I have to get a hold of medicare as dad’s doctor wrote a prescription for a hospital type bed for my dad. The arthritis has taken a stage where he can’t lay and get comfortable since majority of the area is in his shoulders and back. He has had to get up in middle of night and come out on the couch to sleep, althought last night was his best night in weeks as he slept till 6!

So gonna go tidy up, pick out my clothes for tomorrow, if I had my way I sleep in em LOL, take my meds, and head to bed and get ready for CSI Miami!!

Woohoo! Im glad the 1st day went well for you! I was wondering how it was yesterday! Are you enjoying the lil baby? They are so much fun!
