I say he hit a curb!

Dad came home today to tell me that he is going to need another set of hub caps! He just bought a set in the fall. He said to me that one broke at the car wash but, I say he hit a curb! He tends to be looking around out his side window instead of always straight forward like he should be driving and weaves. It’s cracked. Now we take our car to the same car wash and ours never breaks. Its cracked, hubby said no he hit the side of something! I will add that to my list of things he needs for the car and I have a list of truck accessories that we like to get my stepson for his Birthday, which is next month. I like to get dad a few things for his trunk too. He has more stuff in the trunk and when I use the car on Monday’s to go to the store around the corner I have to keep pushing it all to the back to even have space to get four bags in there. He needs something that can be more organized for him to keep his things in there. He has a folding chair, shoes, a lunch bag, an umbrella, a box with small things in it and yes, more of the blasted basketballs he keeps winning out of the crane game at the mall. Seriously, that is just a waste of money! LOL
Well my daughter, you just want to smack her sideways! I tried to have a discussion with her tonight about appropriate and inappropriate attention and she doesn’t get it. She constantly taking pictures of herself and just asking for the attention, then gets it and well then complains about it and doesn’t see the problem. Again I tried to talk to her and I don’t think she needed to broadcast about the problem she had either because what does that do? Draw more attention, but of course that is her world and what she wants. So naturally she sees nothing wrong with it. I am just at my wits end with her. So many see it, so many get it, but the one who needs to get it, its not clicking. Lord knows I pray she grows up soon. I am tired of arguing with her and she will twist and turn things I say. I might as well talk to the wall behind my monitor.
Dad seems to have adjusted well with the new blood pressure pill. His blood pressure is staying within normal range. That is good. Now if he can just remember to take his Mucinex, as his COPD is acting up a bit tonight. He sounds congested when he talks, I asked if he been taking it, he said yes, two days ago! ARGH! That man I swear, between him and the daughter, I am gonna get a bleeding ulcer one of these days!
