My hubby cracks me up! He will either email me from work or text me and ask me to call his EX sister in law to make an appointment for a haircut. Of course he thinks he is special and should get a same day appointment! So I call and they are trying to “work him in” as she is booked and I am like hey if he can’t get in this week he can wait, he isn’t the President or anything I mean they didn’t have to go out of their way. I know they like to see him. We have been invited over to their house for the 4th but its kinda awkward I think. It’s just weird to go to his ex’s family homes to visit or join their parties when they have them, for me anyway, it makes me feel very uncomfortable. I can tell he really wants to go, but I don’t know if I want to go! She told him that his EX won’t be there so I dunno!
So he walks in today with a new Doo on top of his head. It looks good. But my hubby has no patience for hairstyles that require maintenance. I had to go this evening to Target for some paper towels and trash bags and his breathe right strips, and picked him up some gel. She had it styled where the front was sticking up and let me tell you, he isn’t gonna do that LOL. He already has it combed straight to the front. The man is set in his ways and give it a few weeks he will part on the side and be back to using hair spray!!
Tomorrow will be semi quiet, as my daughter is taking off at 11 and won’t be home until around 9 she said. Don’t ask, don’t tell. I know she will be with her boyfriend and they are going to hang out with some of his friends.
Hubby needs new glasses, he just got two pair last year those bifocal type too, the two for I think $150 or something like that and he already has cracked and scratched the lenses up in both pairs. I keep saying to him if they are not on your face, they belong in the case! ARGH!! So we may head to the mall when he gets home to Eyemasters and get the special again. He needs them. I have had the same glasses for four years now the goofball! He says he is new at having them as his excuse. ARGH!!

Oh man, I meant to post about this to my blog a couple of weeks ago and forgot all about it. If you haven’t gotten the glasses for hubby yet, take a look at http://www.39dollarglasses.com/ . If you wear basic glasses and lenses, you can truly get them for $39. I just got a pair a few weeks ago and they are great. My hubby has bought several pairs from here over the last few years. If you have a heavier prescription or like the special features or something, they have those options for more money as well. They have a very limited supply of choices, but if you’re not picky or are just needing a spare pair for emergencies, you can definately find something. On the site, you can click on a link to download a PDF version of the frames and if you print it, it’s shown actual size and you can compare it to your current glasses to see if it’s a similar size, etc. One thing you do need to know besides your actual prescription though, is your pupil distance. You should be able to get that from where you last bought or had your eyes examed.
