Getting harder and harder to shop for him

This weekend hubby and I are planning to head out and do some Christmas shopping, which I think I mentioned earlier in another post.  I have a few shirts for dad already that I picked up at a sale and hanging in my closet, which I just found (forgot about them) when I was hiding the box that arrived with my daughters present in it.  Dad is getting harder and harder to shop for.  He takes great pride in his car, always keeping it neat and clean (if only he did that with the house huh) and there are a few car accessories he could use, like another set of hub caps.  I swear that man loses more hub caps!  He keeps bumping a curb or something, because either the front right one is cracked or falls off, then he comes home saying someone stole it!  Yeah okay, someone stole JUST ONE of your hub caps.  He is on set two since JUNE!  I kids you not.  So I am thinking maybe get him a set for Christmas and say he can have a nice new set for spring time ready to go?  After Shave is another idea, but lately he puts way too much on and its causing me to have migraines, so this will mean I would have to smell a variety of them and find one that doesn’t bother me.  You know if he just bathed at least weekly he wouldn’t need to use so much at one time!

Last night I caught him trying to add another pain pill to his night time cup.  I told him I already had the medication ready and he said I forgot one.  I took the cup from him and showed him, as all he takes at night is three medications, the muscle relaxer, the pain pills x2, and his anti-seizure capsule.  I didn’t forget!  Then he says to me, oh I miscounted.  What if I didn’t happen to hear him getting into the drawer?  If I move his pills he will have a fit in a half.  This is why I don’t go to bed until he does!  I also am keeping a new log on the pain medication too.  I am counting in the afternoon when he is gone.
