First bottle of…

I got my first bottle of wine the other day at the grocery store and guess what?? It’s corked and I don’t have a corkscrew! How about them apples. I thought I would just pretend I am a cave woman and just break the top, but ended up borrowing one from a neighbor…how embarassing is that? Excuse me, I am 38 years old and just bought my first bottle of wine, do you have a corkscrew I can borrow?

Just FYI, I’ve been in similar situations and found that you can use a blunt object (utensil handle, screwdriver (okay, not so blunt)) and push the cork into the bottle. Just in case you get stck again.
