My son is an “ease reader” when I am at my computer. Sometimes I like to mess with them. For example I was looking at some Swiss Army luggage and he did a “here’s your sign” question, what are you looking at! I swear that child. So being the smarty pants that I am, I said I am looking at the luggage your going to need for boot camp that I am sending you too! His mouth hit the floor! I kid you not! I keep telling him when he gets really mouthy with me I am going to send him to a military camp! He gave me this look and just up and walked away. I am so half tempted to set it up with my husband ahead of time and make it look like I am talking to another man just to see what he would do! I have no privacy in this house. However, I do like having my cell phone and being able to “text” because he can’t see or read them!!

My sweet friend Lara, brought tears to my eyes today! I posted this layout at my scrap blog but I want to post it here too! You see I got my very first tart burner from her earlier this year! Well you remember I posted about Raskal breaking my Longaberger Crock? Well last week that little stinker broke my tart burner and I was so heartbroken. That cat is really trying my nerves sometimes! He thinks he is super kitty chasing and leaping after flies and once he is in the air flying well it just doesn’t end well! I mention this to her when we talked.
My tart order arrived today and there was a little something extra, take a peek!! Big hugs and thanks to my sweet friend..for bringing happy tears to my eyes today as I will always treasure this!!

So my daughter is really being a smarty pants today. I am learning to accept my body and start dressing to look good. Usually I am running around in over sized T shirts but I have purchased a few new tops that really flatter my figure and I like it. (Not to mention most pervs when I am out and about..hello my eyes are up here). I am very self conscious and those pervs are the biggest reason I will wear bigger clothes to hide myself. So today I was just relaxing and looking at some plus size lingerie and my daughter says to me and I quote “Wow they have those in your size?” I was ready to just smack the daylights out of her. But now being the mom that I am, when she has her bridal shower one day, I am so getting a gag gift she will NEVER forget with a little note attached.

OK my hubby and I have been on the discussion of Mammograms, as I am slowly (S-L-O-W-L-Y) approaching that age where I will have to have my first one. So this is what I just emailed to him at work.

So as many of my readers know, we have had nothing but trouble with our AT&T home line (phone) for well over a year now. We were averaging every other month, our phone going out on us for about 5 days at a time, sometimes longer, then by time you get a repair technician out all of sudden the phone works. We were told a year ago we needed new lines, problem is no one, and I do mean NO one wants to run new lines in the house. They come and fiddle with this or that. I have had technicians say well its not acting up now so I can’t fix it until it does, leave me a pager number and low and behold they don’t answer me back! WE are paying them $60 a month for unlimited long distance.
Now for me having the unlimited long distance was important because everyone I talk too are long distance, even hubby’s family and my mom are long distance for us. WE have Alltel cells that SUCK and don’t work in the house so we couldn’t just cancel the home line and use them. I mean when the AT&T service goes down I am outside holding the phone in the air walking until I can get a signal.
So hubby and I talked about it and said we get me a cell phone that would be the “house” line since I am home all the time and do away with AT&T. First I have to check with my son’s school to see if anything I have to fax I can just mail to them since I can’t fax through the cell line. If not worst case is just a line for 14.25 a month. BUT I will NOT keep the lines I have. I will call, cancel our phone service, then wait and call back to order NEW service with a NEW line installed! Hey works for me! I won’t have a trouble lined without the line backer on it, oh hell no! I am currently looking to fax through my computer to the school.
Of course I told hubby if I loose having the long distance, I needed a plan that gives me unlimited text messaging and instant messaging because I will be limited on total minutes in a month. So we bought me a really cool phone as you can see from the picture on the left I got a phone that you flip open and ta da has a keyboard! Got a great price on it plus up to three free phones, so ended up getting hubby and dad too. So for just a few months we will have just a little extra going out as its over the $60, but will save over $65 once Alltel is paid in full which is so another rant. NO bars in the house at all for their service and I am requesting an early termination due to lack of service so its currently pending in technical support checking into it..that is what the customer service gal suggested we try since we can’t get service in the home about releasing us early since only a few months left……
So I am excited. I can use the phone in the house I have BARS!!! Now I will be able to text/IM from the phone if I am not on the computer so I can be there for my buds!! We do have unlimited nights and weekends too but until the Alltel phones are gone, have to watch our minutes as there is only 700

The girls mom called me a little bit ago. She forgot their lunch bags yesterday. It’s so cute, sometimes they pack their lunch to bring to my house, if mom is packing a lunch for herself. She was telling me how next Tuesday she is leaving to go down to her moms to stay for the week and has the luggage out, to start packing this weekend, since she works those two long days. I have the girls my Build a Bear Kitties, so when they are not coming to my house anymore they can give the kitties a hug and I would would feel that hug each time they hugged the kitties. Well they both told their mom they have to take “Suzy and Suzy-Q” with them so they can send me lots of hugs from their grandma’s. They even sleep with the kitties. Isn’t that just cute. I teared up. My last day with them is August 12, I lost two weeks due to vacations they are being taken. I am so sad but can not show that in front of the girls. I will miss them so much.

My daughter is a trip. We ventured out to the mall today, which is another post to come about that! But I had to journal this because it was so funny. Last year we got her some of that Proactive stuff for her acne. It didn’t work for her at all. She was so disappointed. So we walked past where we bought it and they were trying to get us over there and she said to them in front of all these people, that they didn’t have the best acne treatment, that she rather use butt wipes on her face than that crap, it was just a waste of my time and my mom’s money! It was all I could do to keep from laughing as I kept walking. You should of seen those other girls standing around looking at the products, looking at her like OMG!! Priceless. I have a feeling that girl is going to be just like me with certain things!!
