Busy day, spring cleaning almost done..err I think

Busy day today.  What I “thought” was just going to be routine changing dads bedding turned into spring cleaning his room.  He sleeps in a hospital bed and that thing, HUGE pain in the butt to clean with all the springs and corners and ledges that thing has to collect all kinds of particles like dead skin (ewww gross).  Of course when I went to get the lighter quilt for his bed, my hall closet was a disaster area!  I had to clean every shelf again,  I just did that a few months ago, I don’t get how hard it is, for others in the house to take something from the closet, to put it back in an orderly way!  Man!  My daughter plays her video games in dads room, and well game cases, wires and cables everywhere.  I asked several times to come clean it up, finally I said, you just sit there and relax and don’t you worry, I’LL TAKE CARE OF IT…and she ran like there was no tomorrow.  By the time I finished hubby walked in the door, it was 2:45!  Holy mollies and I started very early!!

The temps dropped like 35 degrees today.  Dad would like me to go with him to Walmart tomorrow as he is looking for some short sleeve shirts, he came home yesterday with two, well the material would wrinkle terribly and he took them back.  He wants me to help him pick out a few shirts.  He wants some denium ones but they are a bit pricey right now.

I felt like baking this evening, to warm the house up a bit, but I went and took an early bath and not not so sure I wanna bake now.  I am exhausted!!  I made hamburger and green peppers with home fries for dinner tonight and wow was dad and hubby ever excited to have that for dinner.  Wasn’t nothing fancy but they enjoyed it.  The peppers were on sale. Got three nice sized ones for 98 cents (99 cents per pound)

Maybe I will scrap tonight… I dunno just yet.  What I would love to do?  Honestly?  Just take my glass of Iced Tea, and go lay in bed with my pillows propped and watch TV!  Just have some alone time, that is what I would really love!!
