Broken Hearted, My Sweet Twinkle

I am just so broken hearted and feel so helpless right now. Around 4ish this afternoon, my youngest kitty, she is about 1 1/2 years old, was acting really weird, running all over the house biting herself, biting the floor, running nuts, biting at the walls and in the air. She began to pant hard and breathing was rapid. I called the vet they said give it 10 more minutes, call back. So I did and it was the same she just would not calm down, no matter what we did..she was flipping out. They told us to bring her in so we did. By the time we got there she was like normal. After the vet checked her out and we described what she was going, he told us she had a seizure! OMG!! All this time she didn’t have any he said it doesn’t fully develop until between her age now and the age of 2, that he thinks she may have epilepsy. He said that she should return to her normal self by tomorrow. To watch her, keep track. We brought her home and after a while she had another one. Now she is twitching alot..her back is rippling and she keeps running from it. She is biting my furniture, floor, walls, anything. My heart is so broken right now.  They said she may be a candidate for medication but wanted to see how frequent they would be before they medicated. I am just besides myself right now. Say a prayer please!!! The type of seizure she had is called A Partial Complex Seizure.

Gifted by Jacquelyn, Thanks so much Sweetie!!

OMG!! This is so sad. I am so sad for your kitty!! I hope that this gets figured out. How devestating for you all. It’s like one of your children being hurt!! *HUGS*
OOOH Susan, I know how you feel – it’s awful to see this
little furrballs flipping around like this. I was totally shocked
when Lilly had it the first time. But don’t be toooo sad cos
it really can be controlled and the kitty can live a normal
life with the right meds. Will tell you more about Lilly this
evening so that you can imagine what you are dealing
with. For now I’m sending my thoughts and prayers and
a lotta kitty-kisses from my gang. Luv and Hugs, Simone
Ohhh Susan. My heart was very heavy when I read your posts about your kitty. I have 3 furbabies of mine own (although before we moved we had many more). It is so hard to watch them when they are sick. I am glad that my lil giftie brought a smile to you face last night *hugs*
Thinking of Tinker Binker this morning!! Let me know how the vet goes!! *HUGS*
