My membership “tubes” are confusing me

Wow. I have to tell you, my brain just is frazzled this morning. I have been in the middle of updating my “memberships” to sites that I have acquired over “years”. I was at a point, I kid you not, where I had joined well over 40 different sites!! Now I am down to a handful. A very high percentage of them are now gone. Not going to rant or nothing it is “water” under the bridge. But the ones I have, honestly I haven’t used in quite some time and have decided to start doing some things that “I” enjoy doing, to help get me out of this depressive/burn out phase I am in due to so much going on at home. I love my blogging but I need a little more.

So today I been visiting a few of my memberships and I have to tell you I am confused as hell right now. You enter a membership area and there are lots of “as is” things, but then it said logo must be on page you use and credit given to the site they came from, then says credit original artist. ARGH So I am going to take a huge stab in the dark here and assume I link it to the site they purchased from and not to the site I downloaded them from. But I tell you what, just ONE time someone gives me or accuses me of CRAP, WATCH OUT!! Honestly in the past three years I don’t know how they all manage to remember it all. My head literally hurts!!

Now I have purchased some “as is” graphics. Why? Simply for ME to use them. I am so not going to put them behind a membership area for others to have too! I rather create with them, like making siggies, something that seems to be sadly fading away at most sites because of some who take the samples and make tags to give away. I know are going to use a script so members can do themselves so decided heck, why pay to use a script and make my own period!! I rather do something with them!! BUT…… (you knew a but was coming) a seen in one or maybe two of my memberships those gals have purchased them too and I don’t want no flack later on saying well she is a member of my site and I have those up so she just used mine crap! NOPE!! For this reason any “as is” I purchase, or any graphics I purchase that comes with logo with have MY name, not a site name, but MY name on it. Simple huh? Easy peasy lemon squeezy!! If the site that I purchase from isn’t willing to put into my name and only an URL, then I will save my money and spend else where. That just means it wasn’t meant for ME to have them to create with.

And another thing why do they call them a “tube” if they are actually not in “tube” format??? A gif is a gif, its not a tube.

I can understand now when so many gals list their “tubes” or gifs, or graphics they are making from linearts by site, there are so many sites, it must be easier for them to keep track this way. Perhaps less Drama from where did you get that and how dare you shade that pink, I used pink, you can’t use pink crap huh??

For the record I OWN PINK so there (ok a little bad humor for the day, hey I am allowed).
