My back and legs a little sore

My back and legs are a little sore tonight. I think I might of over done it today. This morning I rearranged our bedroom, I asked hubby the past few weeks about moving our bed away from an outside wall under the window, in the cooler nights it is just too much for my sinuses, I get enough migraines without adding sinus headaches to the list. Then I decided to clean the furnace and turned it on to get that little bit of dust on the burners burnt off. I don’t like that smell, but had the doors open so that way it circulated out pretty fast. Then I scrubbed the utility sink on top of laundry. I made them pork chops and baked potato’s for dinner and had some soup and crackers myself.

I did manage to get a layout done this evening. I made a pretty layout of the goodies I got from Lisa. It turned out so very pretty. Took some pictures of our bedroom today. I have so many pictures to catch up on scrapping wise but think I keep saying that LOL

So I am off to catch some shut eye, well shutting my eye isn’t the problem, actually falling asleep and staying asleep is.

Something special just for her

I have been thinking of something special to get my niece Amanda for her birthday. I feel so bad for her, as my brother (yes I do have one, what can I say I come from a dysfunctional family and its a long story), doesn’t keep in contact with her like he should. I keep in contact with her and get to see her a few times a year. I have been looking at english saddles as she loves to ride horses wonder if I should get her one that would just for her. I thought I ask other members of my family to see if they wanted to go split the price to get her one. I think she would really love it. She goes the the stables to ride all the time and I keep watching for some pictures from her mom so I can scrap them. What do you think? You think she love one?

Love this time of year!

I really love this time of year, where the days are not to warm and the evenings are cool and I get to turn on that oven of mine and bake. I miss not baking during the summer. I love sitting down with my computer, sometimes wrapped in a blanket (my legs) all toasty and warm and looking for some new dessert recipes to try out. I have come to the conclusion that my family is spoiled. My son thinks I should open a bakery but then I am afraid I would not enjoy it anymore. Being the season for pumpkins, I am always on the hunt for something new to make besides your traditional pie. I have an awesome recipe for pumpkin cake that is super moist and out of this world. My family even loves it more than pie believe it or not. I might make one, take a picture and scrap it with the recipe, thus making a recipe card to share with my readers. Yeah I am like that!
