Tone of Voice sucks

My daughter is really pushing my buttons. I swear I thought early teen years were hard. This 18 years old, graduated and working phase sucks! I get a text message from her boyfriend saying she is “P” off because when he went to renew his permit as he is scheduled to take his test Friday, the DMV had no power. How can you be “P” off at him for that? So she walks in with this attitude and assumed I was on the phone with Sony over my laptop and it wasn’t and when I said her boyfriend text me saying your mad at him she got all funky about it. Well she tells him things like my parents said this or that, when we have not not said anything. So I am sure its why he text me saying he is trying as hard as he can. Hey poop happens, so you go another day to renew its no big deal. She is just all “P” off because she wanted to go out Saturday is all, and possibly won’t be able to. Lordy what happens if he didn’t pass his driving test first time around, she gonna dump his butt?
So she was on her phone said it was her boyfriend and I wanted to talk to him to let him know I wasn’t upset or anything and she got all funky and nasty with me. So she can just sit on her butt in her room until she works her next shift this evening and don’t turn on MY television either!
I am sick of it. I gotta get out of here or something
Hubby goofed…she is 80!

My hubby goofed about the age of his mom. He’s been off by a year for 10 years now LOL. She turned 80 yesterday. She was so surprised to see us and we ended up taking her to eat and stalling so they could set up a little mini party for her. We ended up taking her to the nicest Ponderosa I have ever been too! If only there was more of them like that. The one near us we won’t even think of going to, its nasty! She really ate well!! More than me and I am younger than her!!
OK another crappy night of sleep. Seriously I think its our bed! When my 16 year old was a baby the bed was given to me by folks I use to work for, when they upgraded to a king size bed. They were such nice folks, gave me carpet for the house I rented, a rocking chair to rock my son when he was born. From the date on the mattress, its 25 years old. So I am guessing very much its our bed!
Hubby said Levin was has a no interest for 24 months and we could probably get a new bed and break up the payments over 24 months. It would be nice to have a headboard too! So we shall see. We just have a metal bed frame with old box spring and mattress. Hey I settle for just box spring and mattress trust me! But something has to give, and give soon!!!
Sleepless night and traveling today

Last night was totally a sleepless night for me. I tell you I just can’t seem to sleep very well. How can one be so tired and yet not sleep? Today is my mother in laws Birthday, she is 81. So we are traveling down her way (two hours one way) to take her out to eat to surprise her. She has NO idea we are coming, his sister is there every weekend, so she knows but hoping she kept it secret for sure! So a little alone time with hubby in the car. Well about four hours total with the trip there and back. Will it drive me bonkers?? I am going to load up the MP3 with music, I need to add my Kid Rock All summer long song to it. I really love that song! Who knew I would be listening to Kid Rock huh?
I just took a bath, changed my shirt three times already, crazy weather. Decided short sleeves and take my Mickey Mouse jacket along!
Be good now… OH yeah and you better MISS me!!!

My daughter’s job and a migraine

Well I have to tell you the stress of sitting backand listening and watching what goes on with her job is more than enough let me tell you. She came home last night complaining and saying how she will just have to go in early and start working before clocking in because they made cuts in her department to meet the budget and I disagree with her going into work early because of it without pay. That is just messed up beyond belief and very very wrong! I instantly got a migraine! I kid you not! Next week one is on vacation so as it stands she works Friday, Sat, Sun, all mornings.. Then Monday evening till 10pm, then back Tuesday Am at 5 till 11, then back to work at 5 till 8 in the evening, then Wed, Thurs, Friday, Sat, Sun mornings, then she works Monday and Tuesday night. NO time off inbetween. Personally I think that alone is enough without adding an extra 1/2 hour to those mornings with NO pay! I didn’t raise a foolish girl.
She does the breakfast bar and social hours. They are wanting her to learn how to do the “cooking” part now plus set up the bar, which is suppose to be one cooks and one sets up the bar. They have one hour do do it. But now cutting hours back so the person who does the bar and eating area comes in an hour later, yet expect the person doing all the cooking to be out there setting up too, its just a bunch of shit!!
Would I be as upset now if she had her own car and license. Frankly NO I doubt it, yes upset about the going in and not getting paid, add it up folks! But because my poor dad is the one taking her to work 80% of the time and expecting him to get up at 4 instead of 4:30 yeah frankly that pisses me off and that is taking advantage in my opinion. I am literally fed up. When it comes time to give money for gas she bitchy about how much. He commited to three days a week in the beginning, that was the Friday/Sat/Sun. Then she added the social hours so he commited to that and now expecting this from him w/o extra money? No don’t think so!!
She needs a new job. Period!
Heartburn, cough and acid

Those three are not a good combination let me tell you. No matter what I eat or drink anymore, I have the same thing every evening… heartburn, cough and acid. It really sucks. Hubby’s E-N-T specialist called and he goes back next Monday to go over his CT Scan results and start the plan course of treatment. I don’t exactly know what that is going to be.
Today I made a banana cake and it came out delish oh man did it ever. I had 5 bananas that were already spotted and hubby won’t eat them once they have more than maybe 5 spots, and I didn’t wanna toss them in the garbage so I made a homemade cake. I took a picture, yep gonna scrap it.
Speaking of scrapping, I did a really cute layout, if your a frequent flier of mine, head over to the scrap blog to check it out, its just too cute. Yes its my cats!! I have so many pictures to catch up on. I am in April, but really never finished other ones yet but working on it.
I changed the bedding on our bed today for cooler nights. I can’t handle freezing in middle of the night because someone wants the fan on.
So thats my story and I am sticking to it.
OH yeah, my new soap I got from The Sage Grove called Pink Diva, OMG it rocks ok. I used it tonight and it was just heavenly. Such a rich lather too, oh yeah I was spoiled, if only for a moment! OH yeah Lara you done did it again!!!

What a weekend….

Well what a weekend. Wasn’t exactly exciting, but busy just the same. My daughter and her boyfriend went to dinner with us yesterday, and of course my son the 16 year old wasn’t acting his age at all. I mean he was playing with his food in front of the waitress for crying out loud. Then he was really full of attitude throughout the day and evening. Today I went to Sam’s Club as we needed some cat food and a few other things, then hit up Giant Eagle for a few groceries and came home. Hubby put a new screen on the door since the cats had the other all clawed up. He watched his football game, I made dinner and updated my blog home page a little bit.
I am just about caught up with everything since I was down last week with no power. I feel really burned out. I had some big issues with my daughter on Thursday night into Friday.
This weekend coming is hubby’s mothers 81 birthday so we are going to travel down south to see her. Its a surprise. His sister knows since she goes down each weekend. Our plan is too take her and his sister to dinner, come back and maybe meet up with his brother who lives down that way and have some cake, then head home.
My stepson is going to borrow hubby’s GPS as he is headed out of state with his hoochie momma. Yep I don’t like her can you tell? I mean seriously you could see her chest from YOUR house I kid you not, her shirts are so flipping tight. I really dislike when she comes over. So he will be gone next weekend and yes she is going with him. <inserts eye roll here>
Other than that, nothing really exciting. But tomorrow is a new day!
