Ease dropping on a conversation

So here I am blogging at my computer listening to music and I am ease dropping on a conversation between my husband and my dad. Now it’s funny that my dad tells me when he leaves oh I am going here or going there and then I listen to him brag about where he went for the day to my husband and its not even close to wear he was going. I swear he really scares me, and I think I am gonna have to use a gps fleet tracking to keep track of him! I kid you not! With his rheumatoid arthritis and joints as bad as it is, if he has a relapse and is that far away from home, how am I going to find him?

OH hubby an anniversary hint inside!

My hubby has been throwing hints about our 10th wedding anniversary coming up and so I thought maybe I would toss a hint or two his way, hey why not, what is good for the goose is good for the gander. I would love to have some pink freshwater pearls. Oh those would be so pretty! I would adore them and that would make such a great heirloom to pass on to my daughter and for generations to come. Now I know its not very practical like a new set of pans or something but I would definitely treasure it!!

Oh my achy back

Wow I just spent the morning getting my daughters graduation announcements and party invitations finished, and is my back ever sore from sitting on that hard chair in the kitchen! I so wish I had a massage chair right about now. Oh come to think of it, with all the stress I have had in my life, I probably have it worn out! So now they are stamped, labeled and on their way to the post office as I type this as my dad took them with him!

My lawyer called me back and said if the trustee from the community center calls me back yet again, to give them his name and number and he handled it from there! I really am trying to focus on the positive and get ready for the big party! I have to finish a few more scrap pages and start working on the graduation movie next, get it all done but adding scraps from her graduation ceremony and burn the DVD! I am going to figure out how to upload to my blog so all my online friends who live so far away can see the movie and cry with me!

Lucky Neighbor!

I walked across the street this morning to show my neighbor my daughters announcements I had ordered and we were talking about getting new mattresses and she showed me her daughters memory foam mattress and had me sit down on the bed the lay on it and oh my goodness I can not believe how comfortable that thing was! Her daughter loves it! Now I am torn as to which type of mattress I want to get, as I been talking to hubby and discussing maybe getting a new mattress set, well new bed in general with our so called economic stimulus check, but now after laying on that mattress I am torn to what I want! Of course with my luck I would want that and hubby wouldn’t so what is a girl to do right?

OH good heavens!!

OH good heavens, I was just looking at prom pictures that my daughters friends were taking at prom and uploaded to their blogs and oh my goodness can you believe this girl actually wore a corset and a skirt to prom? Wow I want to know how she got away with that with her parents? It seems the principal felt it was in appropriate and made her leave and she caused this huge scene and all the girls were talking about it. Just like I seen on the news another school in another city actually arrest a girl because of how she dressed. WOW!! What happen to the beautiful long gowns???

Cramp nights are no fun on the body

I just love and adore my cats, but our youngest Raskal is just growing like a weed and hogging my side of the bed. I have to sleep curled up in a ball and I wake up sore all over! I wonder if I got a few pet beds, if the cats would sleep in them at night instead of our bed? I dunno I bet with my luck it won’t be them sleeping in beds, it would be me, can you picture it? Me lining them all up so I can lay in them to sleep? I am going to have to take my camera in and take pictures of Raskal so you can see how he is stretched out and sleeping, it is just way too funny!!

Down to the last few weeks

It is hard to believe that it’s down to the last few weeks, actually days of school and my daughter is going to graduate. Sadly enough she did not want to go to school on Monday or Tuesday and I knew that had to be a reason, I guess someone during prom on Saturday night overdosed and had to be rushed to the hospital and are now in drug rehabilitation and are going to miss their graduation ceremony. Most of the other seniors are not in school because they are doing senior project and my daughter just felt so sad and lonely, as she knew the person who over dosed. My heart went out to her. She went to school yesterday and had a pretty good day so I am hoping that is how it will be until the last day for seniors and she can get through. I told her if she needed to talk to call me during her lunch and just avoid the drama mommas!!
