Rain Rain go away!

Its cool and rainy today, compared to last week, its quite depressing for this time of year. However I did get three scrap layouts done. I am close to catching up on my daughters layout and then I have to start on the pictures of the pets. I have some good ones of Raskal that are just going to crack you up! But I have to finish up the ones I need for the project I am working on for my daughters graduation.

So who ever too my sunshine, bring it back right now!!!!!

Where did he go this time you ask?

OK, my dad did it again. He was suppose to be home around 2:30 today, that is when he said he would be back. I tried calling the cell phone that I make him carry with him since his last stunt, and it was turned off. Well a lot of good that did! One must turn the phone on! He just now came home, he went off to the maple festival in Chardon and “forgot” to tell us! You know my nerves seriously can not take too much more of these “forgot to tell us” moments. I am seriously thinking of putting a gps tracking devise of some sort on his car! I know there is one in the phone but I have to check with the cell phone company to see if it even works when the phone is shut off. But he did bring me home some pens, magnets and tootsie rolls so I guess that is suppose to make up for the stress. NOT. Maybe some ROLAIDS!!!

I am not alone

You know sometimes when your dealing with health issues you really feel like your alone. Thanks Karen for your comment in sharing your frustration with me. I know its really hard and frustrating with trying to loose weight and feeling the odds are against you with the hypothyroidism. You know I do forget a few times a week to take my medication for it, sometimes I think its a waste of time because I don’t feel any better when I do remember to take it then when I forget. I wonder if an all natural product like Orovo might help me feel better. I am still nervous taking something but maybe if its an all natural product I will finally feel good!

Do not like that shower stall!

I really do not like that blasted shower stall in our bathroom off the master bedroom. That bathroom really needs a lot of work. I love to get one of those walk in tubs, especially with my dad living with us with his rheumatoid arthritis, I would not have to worry about him slipping and falling as he stepped into the tub. Then I could get rid of that nasty shower stall, the kids use it, not me, I prefer to soak in the tub!!! Wouldn’t it be nice if medicare could help cover that expense for my dad?

Raining and hoped to grill out today

It’s raining outside and we were hoping to grill out today, hubby was going to put the grill inside the garage with the door open so its not all the way in the garage but someone did not put the grill cover on when he took it out of the shed last weekend and now its soaking wet inside. Why in the world do we bother buying that stuff if one is not going to use it? Well I hear its going to snow tomorrow, so we can definitely assume we are not grilling this weekend. Go figure!

If we had the room

If we had the room right now, I would go out and get a treadmill for my husband. He is working a lot of hours right now and comes home and doesn’t want to go do anything and with him quitting smoking and gaining the little bit of weight, I wish we had the space for the treadmill then I would go out and get it and maybe he would use it even if just twenty minutes a day. I am still waiting to go and get my bike which is on sale today, so I can go on bike rides by the lake. I am trying to talk him into getting one too. Wish me luck!
